SUSTAINABILITY
Our main focus is to avoid taking new resources from the planet and to create as little waste as possible.
While we acknowledge that creating a zero-waste product is close to impossible, by reimagining vintage pieces we’re using materials that already exist in the world and would otherwise end up in a landfill,. This helps us reduce our waste impact.
For our trimmings we also try to use second-hand materials and avoid using polyester as much as we can.
When designing our products we wanted to focus on a few designs and make small quantities of each one so we don’t over produce and are left with loads of stock. By using small batch production techniques we guarantee that there is no leftover stock and only make more once demand requires it.
We also keep all our scraps and leftover materials to use in our future collections.
We want to be as good for the environment as a brand can be, but as a small independent business we also understand the limitations we currently have. But we have many plans to implement as we begin to grow!
